Printer

The Printer device can either be an OPOS device or a Windows printer, which can be a normal printer or a label printer. If the Save to File option is chosen in Management Portal the printer will be bypassed and a PDF file is created in C:\ProgramData\LS Retail\LS Hardware Station\pdf that can be printed manually or using a script.

Click here for instructions on how to add a printer to the Management Portal. The same instructions apply to both OPOS and Windows printers.
To use this device in LS Central, the device needs to be added to the Hardware Profile. You can add the device automatically through the Detect Hardware functionality on the Hardware Profile.
You can configure the functionality of the Printer in the POS Printer card in LS Central. When the device is added automatically through the Hardware Profile, all configurations are set with default values.
