Matrix Features

From the Role Center's Actions menu as well as from the Reservation Card's or Reservation List's Home menu, you can click the Matrix action to view availability based on resources.

By default, the matrix displays all resources in the selected location. You can, however, create matrix templates for default matrix views, or set filters on the Matrix page itself.

The tables below list the functions that are available in the matrix:

Action	Description
Clicking on an activity cell	Refreshes the FactBox view to show the selected activity.
Clicking on an empty cell	Opens a list of activities that the resource can perform and starts the process of creating a new activity.

The View FastTab

Field	Description
Resource Group	Filters the view based on the assigned resource group filter.
Interval	Selects the interval for the matrix. No interval type shows day view.
Time From	Set the starting time of the matrix view.
Time To	Set the ending time of the matrix view.

Actions on the Home menu

Action	Description
Select Template	Here you select view settings based on preset template settings.
Attribute Search	Here you select resource filtering based on preset attribute filters.
Set Date	Select a date from the calendar to view availability on that date.
Prev Date	Change the view to previous date.
Next Date	Change the view to next date.
Open Reservation	Open the currently active reservation card.
Open Activity	Open the currently active activity card.

Note:  You can set up and define templates with the resource group filtering, which you can then manually select in the matrix view, or you can set the templates to automatically be default views according to reservation type or activity type settings.
